Due to my love of Nekomimis I have decided to post something catgirl related each week! It maybe cute. It maybe sexy. It may even be a bit disturbing... To many Strike Witches characters to name! “ Art by kaneko (novram58) Believe it or now in 2018 the Strike Witches anime will have been around for ten years! To celebrate the cast of Strike Witches and Brave Witches announced that a new project is in the works for next year.  Details are currently scarce with creator Humikane Shimada tweeting that it was too soon to talk about details. It is amazing that this kemonomimi World War II series has managed to stick around for so long. The cast has grown and witches have come from around the world to defend humanity from the Neroui. If only we knew what the Neroui were and why they attacked… So what do you think?

Cat[girl]urday would not exist without catgirl and kemonomimi characters. Many anime series include kemonomimi girls in them and they are a well-established part of pop culture. Traces of kemonomimi culture can be seen from ancient Egypt to Playboy bunnies. In my ten years of running C[G]D I have covered several series that do not just include animal girls but puts them in starring roles. Here are a few of the most memorable shows I have covered in the past 10 years. Centaur's Worries This show just started airing but has a lot of potential. It takes place in a fictional world where creates with six limbs evolved into humans instead of four. I have only seen the first episode but under the slice of life style lies dark undertones. Kemonomimi characters are used as an analogy for different races and cultures. I look forward to seeing how this series handles such sensitive subjects.
