They are as cute and charming as little sisters can be! You may even forget about the dark undertones that lurk in this anime. Centaur no Nayami may seem like a dull slice of life but it has the darkest subtext I have seen in such a series. For characters like the Chi-chans this is just normal life… So what do you think?

During our search, we discovered an anime airing during the summer season called セントールの悩み [Centaur's Worries] or A Centaur's Life in the west. It just started airing last week and is based on a manga by Kei Murayama. The first half of the episode seems like a normal slice of life with a monster girl twist. Things take a dark tone in the beginning of the second half during a lesson on evolution. In this world creatures with six limbs evolved into humans instead of creatures with four.
