Cat[girl]urday: ACEN 2018

Image
Due to my love of Nekomimis I have decided to post something catgirl related each week! It maybe cute. It maybe sexy. It may even be a bit disturbing... Kaban and Serval Cosplay from ACEN 2018 -Photo by ssj3fox This weekend is ACEN so it should come as no surprise that this weeks post would be about cosplay at the event. What might come as a surprise is Serval... She may have lied about not eating Kaban... Well, food around here is expensive. It might be enough to turn a friend into a predator. Of course, she could be about to say, "I won't eat you!". It is a mistake that is made a lot! So what do you think?

Cat[girl]urday: A fan of Vofan

Due to my love of Nekomimis I have decided to post something catgirl related each week! It maybe cute. It maybe sexy. It may even be a bit disturbing... Hanekawa Tsubasa and Hanekawa Black -Offical art by Vofan Anime Central is around the corner and they are going to host an exhibition of Vofan’s art. For those of you who do not know Vofan is responsible for the art in the Monogatari light novels. Also for those of you who do not know the Monogatari series is were tailless catgirl apparition Hanekawa Black comes from. Above is some of Vofan’s work highlighting Hanekawa. Being possessed by the sawarineko [cat apparition] changed Hanekawa Tsubasa forever. She could not get rid of this manifestation of her stress. The only way to control it was to accept it. Now she is a better, stronger person… who is also part cat. So what do you think?

Cat[girl]urday: The Cats come back to the Windy City

Due to my love of Nekomimis I have decided to post something catgirl related each week! It maybe cute. It maybe sexy. It may even be a bit disturbing... -Art by qsan90 It looks like I have another reason to be excited for ACEN this year. Mangaka Kenichi Sonoda will be there to launch the world premiere screening of a new Gunsmith Cats reboot! For people who did watch anime in the 90s Gunsmith Cats was a series about two bounty hunters from Chicago. One was a markswoman named Rally Vincent and the other an explosives expert name May Hopkins. The manga inspired a three episode OVA that aired on the Action Channel in the US. It was one of the first OVAs I watched and although not directly catgirl related it is still connected. The third girl in the image above is Becky Farrah who also appeared as a supporting character. I never expected this series to get a reboot let alone for it to debut at Anime Central. You can bet I will try to see it! So what do you think?
