Due to my love of Nekomimis I have decided to post something catgirl related each week! It maybe cute. It maybe sexy. It may even be a bit disturbing... Members of Plasmagica, ShinganCrimsonZ, Tsurezure Naru Ayatsuri Mugenan, Trichronika, and Criticrista  -Art by Koyoi Mitsuki The last episode of Show by Rock!! aired on December 18, 2016. It has not even been two years but I am already missing this anime. I did not think it would get popular enough to get a second season but thankfully I was wrong. That said there have been no signs of a third season… Never the less Show by Rock!! has been on my mind. I have decided to get the bands back together… or at least find this art by Koyoi Mitsuki that does. If you like music and or kemonomimi do yourself a favor and check out Show by Rock!! Cyan Hijirikawa “ Art by paintrfiend I was lucky enough to find this amazing work by paintrfiend this morning. It features one of my favorite catgirls, Cyan from Show by Rock, looking more gothic than normal. That said the look still suits her! Even the Strawberry Heart received a makeover! This reminds of a simpler time. This was a time when the members of Plasmagica just meet Cyan and were still trying to figure out how to get their band recognized. They tried cosplay but it did not work. It turns out their friendship was the real key to success! So what do you think?

Cat[girl]urday would not exist without catgirl and kemonomimi characters. Many anime series include kemonomimi girls in them and they are a well-established part of pop culture. Traces of kemonomimi culture can be seen from ancient Egypt to Playboy bunnies. In my ten years of running C[G]D I have covered several series that do not just include animal girls but puts them in starring roles. Here are a few of the most memorable shows I have covered in the past 10 years. Centaur's Worries This show just started airing but has a lot of potential. It takes place in a fictional world where creates with six limbs evolved into humans instead of four. I have only seen the first episode but under the slice of life style lies dark undertones. Kemonomimi characters are used as an analogy for different races and cultures. I look forward to seeing how this series handles such sensitive subjects. It is hard to believe it has been nearly ten years since I started writing Cat[girl]urday! Normally this is the day during Catgirl Week that I write about the history of the feature but that can get old. How many times can I rewrite the same post? In addition, this catgirl week is special. It marks ten years and I think that calls for something special!  Do not have a lot of time so let us make the most of it. I briefly looked over the past ten years and picked ten posts to highlight. I cannot say they are the best but each holds special memories. Many great posted are not listed due to time constraints. The Band Plasmagica “ Art by Momoshiki Tsubaki The hot summer weather is hitting the Great Lakes which is great for everyone at Colossalcon in Sandusky, Ohio! They are no doubt enjoying the water park and swimsuit cosplay. The rest of us, however, will just have to make do. So here are the members of Plasmagica in swimsuits! They look like they are enjoying the fun and the sun! I am sure they are also enjoying music as well. After all, nothing brings these girls closer together than music.
