Mangaka Kenichi Sonoda will be there to launch the world premiere screening of a new Gunsmith Cats reboot! For people who did watch anime in the 90s Gunsmith Cats was a series about two bounty hunters from Chicago. One was a markswoman named Rally Vincent and the other an explosives expert name May Hopkins. The manga inspired a three episode OVA that aired on the Action Channel in the US. It was one of the first OVAs I watched and although not directly catgirl related it is still connected. The third girl in the image above is Becky Farrah who also appeared as a supporting character. I never expected this series to get a reboot let alone for it to debut at Anime Central. You can bet I will try to see it! So what do you think?

360-degree videos have been a hot topic this past year. It is a new medium that many content creators are rushing to try but struggling to figure out. This is leading to many people already feeling burned out and even boycotting 360 videos. When I discovered 360 videos I instantly knew what I wanted to do with them. After using my first 360 camera at just two anime conventions, I am personally sold on making 360 content in the future. I love the atmosphere at anime conventions. Just being in the middle of a con surrounded by so many amazing people is an incredible feeling. It is not an easy one to reproduce. In my early attempts, I tried to make walk around videos during my down times. My first big issue with walk around videos is they are not easy to make. You have to plan your route in advance, make sure there is a steady flow of traffic, keep the camera steady and make sure to not focus on anyone for too long. Although there was not a lot of nekomimi cosplay on Friday I did find a catgirl related cosplay that is quite rare. Mira from Dimension W! You may remember this android who has cat like antenna and a tail. The last time I saw a cosplayer from the series at ACEN it was a Loser cosplayer. He was the only one to show up to the gathering.
