Due to my love of Nekomimis I have decided to post something catgirl related each week! It maybe cute. It maybe sexy. It may even be a bit disturbing... Kana Kamui from Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid “ Art by spider921 One of this season’s most popular anime series is Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid. Despite not being Miss Kobayashi or her dragon maid [Tohru] this character has stolen the show for many fans. Her name is Kana Kamui and she is a young dragon who joins the title characters after she is exiled from the dragon’s world. I am not sure if dragon girls count as kemonomimi/catgirl like so here is her with cat ears! Even though she may paint a cute image of the anime it is the darker side of the show that will keep you coming back. These visitors from the other world provide lots of dark humor and social-political commentary. What else would you expect from a show about a woman and her dragon maid? So what do you think?

Serval, Wolverine, and Kaban “ Crossover art by Chiba Toshirou It appears that the anime Kemonomimi Friends has gotten popular. It is even more popular than the discontinued game it was supposed to promote. To tell the truth I gave up after the first episode which was quite dull. None the less it might be worth a second shot. If Serval and Kaban can give Logan a shot I guess I can give them a shot. After all where else can you find a Wolverine in its natural habitat? So what do you think?

Chocola and Vanilla are happy! “ From the NEKOPARA OVA PV The NEKOPARA Anime OVA Kickstarter closed yesterday at $963,376. Over 9,000 people came together to help make Sayori’s dream come true. The fundraising started back on December 28, 2016, with a goal of $100,000. Catgirl fans pledged over $275,000 to the project in the first 24 hours alone! The project has managed reach almost all of its stretch goals including additional subtitles and a Mini Visual Novel game. If the project reached $1 million the mini VN would also have been animated. As a big fan of catgirls, I am happy to see this day come. The OVA cannot come soon enough! So what do you think?

Valve is making headlines in gaming news today for announcing three VR games. During a  media briefing , this morning Valve Co-Founder Gabe Newell confirmed to Eurogamer that the company is making not one but three full VR games. "When I say we're building three games, we're building three full games, not experiments," is what the site reported. Not many other details were given about the games but they will be made using both the Source 2 and Unity. Valve is also working on advancing their VR hardware in order to make better games. Gabe explained that the need for new hardware was felt after Valve added VR support to their older titles: "One of the first things we did is we got Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress running in VR, and it was kind of a novelty. That was purely a developer milestone, but there was absolutely nothing compelling about it, the same way nobody's going to buy a VR system so they can watch movies." Lethe and Lyre from Fire Emblem “ Art by Mikankomikan-Hime Fire Emblem Heroes is out and I spent a good bit of the day yesterday playing it. The game does a good job of preserving core Fire Emblem gameplay on cellphones. The ability to summon characters from other games makes it somewhat of a love letter to fans. The only love letters I wish to summon however would be from Lethe and Lyre. These two Lague from the Gamecube era are known for their ability to turn into cats for battle. If the game claims to let you summon the best heroes in the series than these two needs to be in it! The Kingdom of Askr needs heroes… and catgirls… Askr needs catgirl heroes! So what do you think?
